This design, which included the signature Predator mandibles with a Xenomorph body, was more similar to Dorman's artwork. Predator: The Hunt, the film would have been heavily based on the crossover comic books, and would have introduced a Predalien significantly different than the beast that finally appeared in 2007.Īt first, the special effects artists for the film wanted to emphasize the Xenomorph aspects of the Predalien since the creature wasn't technically an offspring of a Predator, as well as to clarify what side of the conflict the monster was fighting on. The PredAlienâ€™s muscular tail, supported by a dense adjoining base, is almost reptilian in appearance.Concept art by Dave Dorman for the creature initially surfaced with the second draft of Peter Briggs' unproduced script for an Alien vs. The PredAlienâ€™s cranial housing is less curviform than that of the Warrior, and is further set apart by the presence of the Predatorâ€™s pulpy dreadlocks and exterior mandible formations. The PredAlien sustains a bulkier, brown-mottled frame. The Warrior is armed with curved claws and a monstrous prehensile tail. The Warriorâ€™s powerful jaws are filled with silver slime-roped teeth. A glazed dome is fixed to the forefront of the elongated rib-textured cranium. The Alien Warrior is a skeletal figure laden with grey-black armor striations.

Each stands 8″ tall, are detailed, and feature multiple points of articulation. These action figures, based on the film, feature a variety of Alien and Predator characters from the film. On Christmas Day, 2007 the war between the Aliens and the Predators resumes with the theatrical release of Aliens Vs.
